Those in need are invited to visit the Celebration Food Pantry in the church office Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. The only requirement for assistance is a picture ID.  People may pick up a bag of food once a month.

The need is great, but God, through His people have provided.  It has been a busy year in helping church and community members. The Benevolence Team has worked hard to make sure needs are met, especially for our widows, shut-ins and those with chronic illness. Because of the generosity of two spontaneous offerings this year and the hard work of our teen girls and leaders, we have been able to give away a tremendous amount of food to those in need this year.

Please help restock CBC’s Benevolence Ministry Food Pantry. There are two ways you can help out. A bag of food with basic items will feed a family of four for about two or three days. Give a donation of $15-$20 (or whatever you feel led to give) in an envelope and a Benevolence Team Member will purchase the items on your behalf.

Purchase the following items, load them in a paper grocery bag and deliver them to the church office:

• 1 box of dry cereal or quick cooking oatmeal (either a container of oatmeal or a box of the individual packets)
• 1 box of spaghetti noodles
• 1 spaghetti sauce
• 2 cans meaty soup or stew
• 2 cans chicken or tuna
• 1 box saltine crackers
• 1 jar peanut butter
• 2 cans vegetables
• 2 cans fruit
• Dry Rice in bags or box or Dry Beans
• Powdered Milk
• If possible but not necessary, reusable cloth grocery bag like those at Wal-Mart
